The call

Goodai Global is a fast-growing, profitable brand roll-up heading into an IPO, but its growth leans on two trend-driven brands and channels it does not own.

Goodai Global buys and grows Korean beauty brands like TirTir and Beauty of Joseon, then sells them online through Amazon and TikTok Shop. The hard part is keeping these brands growing fast enough (20 to 30 percent per year) as trends shift, and bigger beauty companies like Amorepacific and LG are now copying the same playbook with more money and better store connections to back them up. The biggest threat is that Amazon and TikTok control which products shoppers see in their feeds, and Goodai has no special technology to protect its brands if those platforms decide to rank competitors higher.

Why
01
AI pressure: Amazon and TikTok Shop discovery algorithms. Sales ride on Amazon and TikTok Shop ranking systems Goodai does not control or own any AI layer to influence. Could AI do the core job? Only partly.
02
Bigger players: Amorepacific Corporation and LG Household & Health Care. Both are redeploying capital into indie-brand buyouts and the same Amazon/TikTok channels Goodai relies on. Could a giant copy it? Yes, easily.
03
What protects it. A profitable multi-brand portfolio and proven buyout track record spread risk across trends rather than one hit product.
What would change this call
TirTir and Beauty of Joseon quarterly growth rate reported through 2026 IPO filing period. Shows whether the flagship brands can sustain the 20-30% growth the IPO valuation depends on.
APR Co.'s market cap trajectory relative to Goodai's IPO pricing in H2 2026. Shows whether APR keeps pulling ahead on valuation and narrative in the same category.
Any brand-acquisition announcement by LG Household & Health Care or Amorepacific in indie K-beauty. Shows incumbents copying Goodai's house-of-brands model with deeper capital.
