Track record

Every assessment carries a date it can be checked. When a company is acquired, shut down, or restructured, the outcome is posted next to what we said, dated, unedited, hits and misses alike. How calls are made and checked is explained in the methodology.

Calls reach their checkpoints over the coming months; each outcome is added here as it lands.

Airtable: This was not a prediction of a sale; the site publishes no predictions. The assessment named the mechanism (a core product that AI tools and Microsoft could now build in a chat window) and placed the company in the fourth of five bands sixteen days before the sale. The July file under-called the severity: the sale price was below the bottom of the secondary range on record. It was a live assessment, not part of the blind test, so no hindsight was possible. One checked call is one data point.

How this page works

A call is the band and the checkpoint written for a company on its assessment date. The text is never edited after that date. When a checkpoint's date passes, the event is checked against public sources and the outcome is posted on the company page and here, with its source, as either Assessment confirmed or Evaluation updated. Outcomes are posted in both directions.
