The call

Totalis launched its core parlay feature after Kalshi, Polymarket, and major sportsbooks had already shipped their own, with no outside proof anyone wants a cross-venue version.

Totalis lets traders bundle predictions from different prediction-market websites into single bets, then finds prices for those bundles through an auction system. This is hard to copy in theory because the big websites (Kalshi, Polymarket, DraftKings, FanDuel, Fanatics) do not want to work together, so a middleman could capture value. In practice, it is easy to copy because the auction system uses no secret data or technology, and any well-funded firm or the big sites themselves can build the same pricing engine. The one thing that matters: proof that real traders actually want to bundle bets across different websites and will pay for it, which does not exist yet.

Why
01
AI pressure: Automated market-making and pricing bots. Quant firms can copy Totalis's RFQ pricing logic with no proprietary data or lock-in to stop them. Could AI do the core job? Yes, likely.
02
Bigger players: Kalshi and Polymarket (native combo/parlay features). Kalshi's Combos already handle ~$14B notional and 26% of its weekly volume; Polymarket, DraftKings, FanDuel, Fanatics all shipped combos too. Could a giant copy it? Yes, easily.
03
What protects it. None identified; only an unproven bet that traders want to route parlays across rival venues instead of using combos already live at Kalshi or Polymarket.
What would change this call
A Dune Analytics or similar third-party dashboard showing Totalis RFQ auction volume. Would show independent proof of real trader demand, currently absent.
Totalis announces a named market-maker partnership or custody/settlement agreement. Would show it is building the liquidity network it currently lacks.
Totalis raises a new funding round or shuts down within 12 months. Would show whether investors see enough traction to keep funding it.

Questions people ask
Is Totalis profitable and does it have any revenue yet?
No. As of July 2026, no third-party source confirms revenue, user counts, or transaction volume for Totalis. The only public detail is its May 25, 2026 parlay feature launch advertising a 3.1% yield on locked capital, per Cryptobriefing.
Could AI or automated market makers replace what Totalis does?
Likely yes for its core function. Totalis's RFQ pricing of correlated multi-leg parlays is a quantitative problem; reporting from July 8, 2026 on the 'MEV moment' in prediction markets notes pricing and correlation-risk modeling are increasingly automated by market makers, not proprietary to Totalis.
Who is Totalis's biggest competitor?
Kalshi, which shipped its own native 'Combos' parlay feature in September 2025 and by June 6, 2026 had processed about $14 billion in notional volume, representing over 26% of Kalshi's weekly volume, directly matching Totalis's core differentiator.
Who owns Totalis and how is it funded?
Totalis is privately held, founded by Eric Liu and Pravesh Mansharamani, and went through Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch. It received a $500,000 seed check from YC paid entirely in USDC over Solana, settled April 13, 2026, per The Block.
Does Totalis have a moat against Kalshi and Polymarket copying its feature?
No structural moat is evidenced. Totalis holds no proprietary data, regulatory license, or distribution advantage; it aggregates markets that already live on Kalshi and Polymarket, both of which built native combo features by May 2026.
What does Totalis actually do?
Totalis operates an RFQ-based derivatives layer that lets traders combine 2 to 5 outcomes from prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket into a single parlay position, priced by competing market makers and settled via vaults on the Solana blockchain, per its docs as of July 14, 2026.
