The call

BigPanda's cross-tool neutrality is real but its own biggest partner, ServiceNow, is building the thing that could replace it.

BigPanda is a software company that helps large businesses spot and fix problems in their computer systems automatically using AI. The company has been around for 13 years and has real paying customers, but it is getting harder to stay different because much bigger rivals like Datadog, ServiceNow, and Dynatrace have all added similar AI tools to their own products in the last year. The one thing that could change everything is whether BigPanda can still win new big customers and keep the ones it has happy, especially now that ServiceNow, its own biggest sales partner, is selling competing tools directly to those same customers.

Why
01
AI pressure: Datadog Bits AI SRE, ServiceNow Moveworks, Dynatrace Davis CoPilot. Big platforms now ship native AI that triages incidents inside the same tools BigPanda sits on top of, cutting the reason to buy a separate layer. Could AI do the core job? Yes, likely.
02
Bigger players: ServiceNow. ServiceNow both resells BigPanda and builds its own predictive AIOps plus Moveworks, so its biggest distribution partner is also its main copycat. Could a giant copy it? Yes, easily.
03
What protects it. Its neutral correlation across many tools (Datadog, ServiceNow, Splunk, etc) still beats single-vendor AI that only sees its own data.
What would change this call
BigPanda announces a new primary funding round within 2 to 3 quarters. Would show investors still back its neutral-correlation moat despite stalled growth.
ServiceNow expands Moveworks-based AIOps features that overlap BigPanda's correlation engine. Would show its top distribution partner is becoming a direct substitute.
BigPanda reports net-new large-logo wins or churn data after Datadog Bits AI SRE's December 2025 GA. Would show whether its differentiation holds against incumbents' native AI tools.

Could AI replace BigPanda's core product?
BigPanda's alert-correlation and triage workflow is itself AI-automatable, and rivals like Datadog Bits AI SRE and Dynatrace Davis CoPilot now bundle similar agentic AIOps into platforms customers already own, pressuring BigPanda's standalone value proposition as of 2026.
Who owns BigPanda?
