The call

InfoTrack sits deep inside government registries and law-firm workflows, a position PEXA's settlement dominance and AI agents haven't reached yet.

InfoTrack helps lawyers and property professionals search government records and files paperwork across Australia. It is hard to replace because it has direct permission from government agencies to access their data, which took years to set up and cannot be quickly copied by competitors or AI tools. The company also sells its own AI products rather than being pushed out by them. The main thing to watch is whether a new competition case in New South Wales changes how the property settlement market works, which could eventually affect InfoTrack's business.

Why
01
AI pressure: None apparent. AI agents could someday query registries directly, but permissioned access and compliance rules keep that gate closed for now. Could AI do the core job? Unlikely.
02
Bigger players: PEXA (Property Exchange Australia). PEXA runs about 90% of e-conveyancing settlements but stays out of the searches and eFiling workflow InfoTrack leads. Could a giant copy it? No, they are blocked.
03
What protects it. Direct, permissioned links to land registries, corporate registers, and courts, plus AUSTRAC compliance accreditation across four countries.
What would change this call
NSW Parliament eConveyancing inquiry issues interoperability ruling. Could reshape Sympli JV economics and InfoTrack's settlement-layer access.
ATI Global proceeds with, delays, or withdraws its flagged IPO. Signals whether InfoTrack's parent has capital to defend its register integrations and AI products.
A rival ships government-registry-linked search or eFiling tool winning law-firm accounts. Would show InfoTrack's core workflow moat is being bypassed, not just settlement layer.

Questions people ask
Is InfoTrack profitable?
InfoTrack does not disclose standalone financials, but its parent ATI Global reported more than A$1 billion in sales for FY2024, according to the Australian Financial Review on 2025-03-26, which also noted ATI Global had greenlit IPO preparations.
Who owns InfoTrack?
InfoTrack is majority owned by ATI Global, a Sydney legal-software holding group led by founder Christian Beck that also owns LEAP, Smokeball and GroundSure. Regal Partners was reported holding a stake in ATI Global via its Global Small Companies Fund as of July 2025.
Could AI replace InfoTrack?
AI can automate document data entry and OCR, but InfoTrack holds direct integrations with government land registries and AUSTRAC compliance frameworks that AI cannot bypass. It has shipped its own AI tools, InfoTrack Intelligence (April 2025) and an MCP agent platform (December 2025), rather than being displaced.
Is InfoTrack losing to PEXA?
In eConveyancing settlement, yes: PEXA processes an estimated 90%+ of transactions while InfoTrack's Sympli joint venture held under 1% share in 2023, per Senate testimony. But a 2025-10-15 NSW Parliament submission names ATI Global/InfoTrack the largest supplier in the separate search market.
Is InfoTrack going public?
Parent company ATI Global was reported by the Australian Financial Review on 2025-03-26 to have greenlit IPO preparations for the legal-software group. No listing, delay, or withdrawal had been confirmed in subsequent reporting as of July 2026.
What AI products has InfoTrack launched?
InfoTrack launched InfoTrack Intelligence, an AI-powered eFiling platform, on 2025-04-29 claiming over 99% accuracy and sub-50-second filings. It followed with InfoTrack.ai, a Model Context Protocol agent platform, around 2025-12-08, and a 'Tilly' conveyancing AI agent by mid-2026.
