The call

Koyfin still wins on advisor trust and integrations but has shipped no AI feature while rivals build AI-native alternatives and its funding stays frozen.

Koyfin helps financial advisors and individual investors find stocks and analyze markets using charts, screening tools, and dashboards. It has a real advantage with professional advisors because it integrates deeply with their banking systems and is built into their daily work, but that advantage is hard to prove. However, new AI-powered competitors like Pineify and Amsflow can do Koyfin's core job (finding stocks, making charts, showing data) in plain English with no special training, and they are already shipping these features while Koyfin has not. The company has very little funding, a small team, and has not raised money in five years. The one thing that could change everything is if Koyfin ships a real AI layer that lets people ask questions in plain words instead of clicking buttons, and if it can also bring in Fidelity as a major partner at the same time.

Why
01
AI pressure: Pineify and Amsflow (AI-native investing agents). These tools let users ask plain questions for the charts and screens Koyfin makes you build by hand, no AI feature shipped yet to counter. Could AI do the core job? Yes, likely.
02
Bigger players: None apparent. Bloomberg and FactSet don't chase Koyfin's price point, and Fidelity/Schwab need Koyfin's integrations more than they need to kill it. Could a giant copy it? No, they are blocked.
03
What protects it. Deep custodian integrations and advisor workflow lock-in that AI-native rivals and big terminals have not replicated.

Questions people ask
Is Koyfin profitable in 2026?
Koyfin does not disclose profitability. Third-party estimates put annual revenue at under $5 million as of July 2026, per ZoomInfo, against a claimed base of 500,000+ investors and 50,000+ advisors, so unit economics at that user scale remain unclear from public data.
Has Koyfin raised any new funding recently?
No. Koyfin's last disclosed raise was its $3M seed round in September 2019 led by Craft Ventures. As of July 2026, Crustdata reports the company has gone roughly 5 years without a fresh funding round.
Could AI replace Koyfin?
Koyfin's core screening, charting and dashboard functions are directly replicable by conversational AI agents. As of May 2026, rivals Pineify and Amsflow explicitly market themselves against Koyfin's stated AI gap, and Koyfin has shipped no AI feature as of mid-2026.
Does Koyfin have an AI feature like ChatGPT integration?
No. As of March 2026, a 'Koyfin CoPilot' referencing possible Claude integration exists only as an unimplemented community feature request on Canny. A May 2026 third-party comparison explicitly states 'Koyfin doesn't use AI.'
Who owns Koyfin?
Koyfin is privately held and venture-backed, founded in 2016 by CEO Rob Koyfman. It is not publicly traded, per a July 2026 notice.co profile, and no public valuation has ever been disclosed.
