The call

Minro runs entirely on PostHog data while PostHog builds the same churn features itself, leaving Minro exposed unless it adds customers or data sources beyond that one platform.

Minro takes data from PostHog, a product analytics company, and uses AI to predict which customers might leave and draft emails from founders to keep them. The problem is that PostHog is both Minro's only source of information and a competitor that can easily add these same features to its own product. Minro has no special data, no exclusive partnerships, and no customers willing to publicly attach their names to it, which makes it an easy target. If PostHog decides to build churn alerts and AI email writing into its own platform over the next few months, there would be little reason for startups to pay for a separate tool.

Why
01
AI pressure: PostHog AI. PostHog AI already does natural-language querying, and PostHog is pushing into churn triggers and retention workflows on the same data Minro depends on. Could AI do the core job? Yes, likely.
02
Bigger players: PostHog. PostHog just raised a $70M Series D and is expanding into CDP and churn automation, the exact space Minro sits in, using its own platform data. Could a giant copy it? Yes, easily.
03
What protects it. None apparent: Minro has no proprietary data, no multi-platform integration, and no paying customers reported yet.
What would change this call
PostHog ships native churn-triggered workflows or automated outreach within 6 months of its Sep 2025 Series E. Would show PostHog absorbing Minro's core feature set into its own platform.
Minro announces a seed round with named paying customers within 3 months of YC Demo Day. Would show Minro converting interest into real revenue independent of PostHog.
Minro announces integration with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Segment beyond PostHog. Would show reduced single-source dependency and a broader data moat.

Questions people ask
Is Minro profitable or does it have paying customers in 2026?
No. As of July 2026, YC's directory and Minro's own site show no named customers, no revenue figures, and no public pricing page for Minro, a 2-person YC F25 startup still in early-access or beta stage.
Could PostHog replace Minro's product?
Very plausibly. PostHog, Minro's sole data source, raised a $70M Series D in June 2025 at roughly $920M valuation, shipped PostHog AI in beta, and by September 2025 was expanding into CDP and churn-automation features that overlap directly with Minro's wedge.
Who founded Minro and how big is the team?
Minro was founded by Siddhant Lad and Samika Sanghvi, confirmed via Lad's personal site (2025-04-30) and YC's directory. As of July 2026, YC lists Minro's headcount at just 2 employees, with no reported hiring growth since founding.
Is joining Minro as an early employee risky?
Yes, by most visible signals. Minro is a 2-person, pre-seed YC F25 company with no named customers, no independent seed round beyond YC funding, and its core data pipeline depends entirely on PostHog, a platform now building competing features itself.
Who is Minro's biggest competitor?
PostHog is the most structurally dangerous competitor since it is Minro's only data source and was expanding toward CDP and churn-automation features as of September 2025. Direct AI-CSM peers include Userlens, Wavelength, and Boom AI, all also YC-backed.
Is Minro the same company as Miro, the whiteboarding tool?
No. Miro is a separate, much larger collaboration platform founded in 2011 with roughly 1,600 employees, per Wikipedia (2026-06-15). Minro is an unrelated 2-person YC Fall 2025 churn-intelligence startup with no corporate connection to Miro.
