The call

Resilinc holds a real place in supplier risk mapping with Gartner recognition and federal trust marks, while Everstream and ERP giants circle the same ground.

Resilinc helps companies map and monitor their suppliers and factories to spot risks before they cause problems. The company has built some real advantages: it knows how to identify hidden suppliers deeper in the supply chain than rivals, it has government security certifications that take years to earn, and it uses AI agents trained on its own supplier data. However, this lead is under pressure. Everstream Analytics is equally strong in the same industry rankings, massive software companies like SAP and Blue Yonder are adding these same features into their planning tools (and selling them bundled as a package deal), and the exact size of Resilinc's supplier database and its real-world usefulness remain unproven. The company will probably survive, but whether it grows into a standalone leader or gets squeezed into a smaller role depends on whether customers prefer buying best-of-breed point solutions like Resilinc or bundled suites, and whether Resilinc's proprietary supplier data truly delivers better answers than what a generic AI model could assemble.

Why
01
AI pressure: SAP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis agentic risk modules using generic LLM disruption sensing. ERP suite makers are adding AI-driven risk sensing to their planning tools, aiming to make standalone tools like Resilinc's less necessary. Could AI do the core job? Only partly.
02
Bigger players: SAP / Blue Yonder / Kinaxis bundling risk features into ERP and planning renewals. These suite vendors extend risk features with each release, though none has yet shipped a module that wins Resilinc's renewal deals outright. Could a giant copy it? Probably.
03
What protects it. Proprietary multi-tier supplier data, FedRAMP and ISO 42001 trust status, and workflow lock-in from mapped supply chains already in use.
What would change this call
Gartner's 2026-2027 Magic Quadrant for Supplier Risk Management is published. Shows whether Resilinc holds Leader status or Everstream pulls ahead.
SAP, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis announce a bundled agentic risk module in ERP/planning suites. Would show incumbents converting bundled features into won renewals against Resilinc.
Resilinc announces new federal or FedRAMP-authorized agency contracts within 12 months. Would confirm the federal channel is materializing as a growth lever post-FedRAMP.

Questions people ask
Is Resilinc profitable in 2026?
Resilinc is private and does not disclose profitability or audited revenue. Vista Equity Partners' Endeavor Fund invested in the company on 2023-05-08 under a strategy targeting firms with at least $10M in recurring revenue, implying it had crossed that ARR floor, but no profit figures exist.
Who owns Resilinc?
Resilinc is privately held. Founder Bindiya Vakil started it in 2010 and moved to Executive Chairwoman on 2025-02-04 when Kamal Ahluwalia became CEO. Vista Equity Partners' Endeavor Fund holds a strategic growth stake since a 2023-05-08 investment, with Vista's Josh Gray joining the board.
Could AI replace Resilinc's product?
Resilinc's disruption sensing and summarization layer is automatable by generic LLMs, which is why the company itself launched an Agentic AI platform on 2025-05-01. Its moat is proprietary, 15-year supplier-validated mapping data plus FedRAMP (2026-04-01) and ISO/IEC 42001 (2026-03-25) certifications that generic AI tools lack.
Who is Resilinc's biggest competitor?
Everstream Analytics is Resilinc's closest rival, formed in 2020 from DHL's Resilience360 and Riskpulse with $74M in funding, and named a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for supplier risk management in the same 2026 cycle as Resilinc (as of 2026-05-13).
Has Resilinc had layoffs or hiring cuts?
No confirmed layoffs were reported. Employee counts vary widely across third-party estimates, from about 150 in 2021 (per SEMI directory, 2021-10-13) to roughly 285 to 365 by 2026 depending on source, with one 2022 aggregator estimate (Growjo) showing a 6 percent year-over-year employee decline.
What is Resilinc's flagship AI product?
Resilinc's flagship offering is its Agentic AI platform, launched 2025-05-01 and rebranded under resilinc.ai, featuring EventWatchAI which the company says scans over 100 million data sources for disruption monitoring, plus resiliency scoring and tariff and forced-labor compliance agents.
