The call

Most revenue is commodity telecom API resale, and the small differentiated contact-center slice sits exactly where big cloud players and generative agents both point.

RongCloud sells phone APIs and customer service software to businesses in China. It is hard to replace because it has been around for 17 years and has real customers paying real money, but Tencent and Alibaba, which are much bigger tech companies, now offer the same services with artificial intelligence built in. The bigger threat is AI chatbots that can handle customer calls and messages without needing RongCloud's software at all. If RongCloud does not launch its own AI-powered customer service agent by the end of 2026, it could lose customers to AI tools that do the job cheaper and faster.

Why
01
AI pressure: LLM-based voice and chat agents replacing scripted IVR and text bots. Generative voice/chat agents can replace 7moor's rule-based IVR and text bots; no LLM-native product confirmed shipped yet. Could AI do the core job? Yes, likely.
02
Bigger players: Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud contact-center suites. Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud already bundle AI call-center features into their cloud stacks, pressuring 7moor's differentiated slice. Could a giant copy it? Yes, easily.
03
What protects it. Deep CRM/OA integrations and multi-year key-customer retention slow switching away from 7moor's platform.
What would change this call
Whether 7moor ships a generative-AI/LLM voice or chat agent product by end of 2026. Shows whether the company can defend its Contact Center SaaS niche against LLM-based replacement.
Whether Contact Center SaaS revenue share moves from the current 7.6 to 7.8 percent. Shows whether the differentiated segment is gaining or losing ground versus commodity telecom resale.
Outcome of the HKEX A1 listing application, including hearing date and any delay tied to the Beijing Daxing fraud case. Shows whether legal and market risks are slowing the company's access to public capital.

Questions people ask
Is RongCloud (容联云通讯) profitable?
No profitability figure is disclosed in the July 2025 HKEX draft prospectus. Contact Center SaaS, the differentiated product, made up only ~7.6-7.8% of revenue across the three reported years, with the rest coming from lower-margin CPaaS telecom-API resale, as of 2025.
Could AI replace RongCloud's 7moor contact-center product?
Likely partially. The 2025 HKEX filing describes 7moor's core features as smart voice navigation and text bots, both pre-LLM, rule-based tools, the exact workflow LLM voice/chat agents target. Tencent Cloud already ships AI-enabled call-kit contact-center features, documented through 2025.
Who owns RongCloud (容联云通讯)?
As of its July 2025 HKEX A1 filing, 容联云通讯 (Ronglian Cloud Communications) is privately held and in pre-IPO stage, pursuing a Hong Kong Main Board listing. No majority acquirer or state ownership was disclosed in the filing.
Who is RongCloud's biggest competitor?
Tencent Cloud Contact Center and Alibaba Cloud are the main threats, both already bundling AI-enabled contact-center and CPaaS features into broader cloud platforms as of 2025-2026, directly overlapping with 7moor's Contact Center SaaS and CPaaS lines.
Will RongCloud complete its Hong Kong IPO?
容联云通讯 filed an A1 listing application with HKEX around July 2025, but as of 25 July 2026 no confirmed hearing or listing outcome had been found; HKEX's July 2026 listing-rule reforms and record Q1 2026 IPO activity could speed or delay its path to trading.
What share of RongCloud's revenue is AI-relevant Contact Center SaaS?
According to the 2025 HKEX draft prospectus, Contact Center SaaS represented roughly 7.6-7.8% of total revenue across the three reported years, rising in absolute terms in some periods, while most revenue came from commodity CPaaS telecom-resource resale.
